Shabbos

We hold a weekly Friday night and Shabbat morning services and meals, Friday night services start at candle lighting times, which is 18 minutes prior to sunset and Shabbat morning services start at 10am. Mincha followed by Maariv and then Havdalah services. Weekdays, please feel free to come by the synagogue at any time. If you are in town and require a Minyan, we will try our very best to meet your need.

All services are held at The Chabad House in English and Hebrew.

Kosher Meal

Catering, delivery and Shabbat: always with delicious Kosher food!

Mrs. Mussy Litzman is famous across Korea for serving up a treat.

If you find yourself in Korea please always remember: Order your Kosher meal delivery to your residence and we also provide Kosher food catering!

Alternatively, you can shop online or in person in our Kosher Store (which is physically located in the Chabad House).

Education

Ladies Education Forum

Mrs. Litzman teaching helps Jewish women to deepen their knowledge and commitment to their Heritage. Her approach to education is holistic, integrating intellectual study and spiritual growth with practical everyday skills. These classes take place every Wednesday between 19:30 to 20:30 at Chabad JCC Korea.

L’Chaim education

The Jewish Adult Education programme in Korea consists of several well-attended series of classes. The Rabbi leads several classes on a weekly basis that include > Judaism and Torah learning programme held on Sunday afternoons at 4pm.

Torah Musical Note class (Trope signs)

These sessions explore the musical…. What are trope signs? What are trope signs for? A set of symbols above and below a Hebrew text indicates how to pronounce its words. The melody of the verses elevates the spiritual effect on those listening to it and helps to distinguish that text as something holy.

Bat Chayil and Bar Mitzvah classes are provided by Chabad House, please contact the office

The Korea Jewish Library

Based at Chabad House and provides a large selection of Jewish books in English, Hebrew to read and for sale

Educational visits to Jewish Korea

Many children, students and Koreans visit Chabad to learn more about Jewish history and to understand our religion. If you would like to arrange a visit, we will be more than happy to arrange a visit to our synagogue and to enable you to ask us those questions that you have always wondered!
We do not formally charge for visits but donations are welcome.
